We are working closely with local community businesses, schools, and cultural groups to make London Christmas Village a true Shepherd’s Bush celebration. By sourcing from independent traders, partnering with nearby cafés and bakers, and involving local performers and choirs, the event not only creates an authentic festive atmosphere but also ensures that the economic benefits remain within the community. Being based directly on Shepherd’s Bush Green, a public space at the heart of the neighbourhood, it is especially important that the event reflects and supports the people who live and work around it. Collaborating with local groups fosters goodwill, strengthens community pride, and helps create an inclusive event that feels owned by the area as much as it is enjoyed by visiting families.
We will be offering all residents in in the immediate area free tickets for our ‘Resident’s Day’ on the 5th December,
and we are actively engaged with several Community Interest Companies to support the show – for example we will be working with La Modista, a small CIC based in Shepherd’s Bush Market dedicated to teaching people of all ages in Hammersmith and Fulham sewing skills, to create costumes for the show.
