Shepherd’s Bush Green · 28 November 2026 – 23 December 2026

The Christmas you remember.
The one you want to give them.

A two-hour Christmas for families in the heart of London. No rides. No flashing lights.

No loud music just a story that has been kept secret for two hundred years, told to your children for the first time.

A Different Kind of Christmas

The best thing you can give your children this year isn’t another toy. It’s a Christmas that slows down enough for them to remember it — and one you get to be part of, not watching.

That Christmas has a place to happen. London Christmas Village is a two-hour experience on Shepherd’s Bush Green, made for families with children aged 2 to 10, where every face you meet is in character and Dickensian dress. It’s lantern-lit, wooden and frost-edged and the moment you walk in, the noise of the season falls away. This is the Christmas that came before everything got faster.

What that means in practice:

  • Built for being together, not handing the children off.
  • No rides, no flashing lights, no loud pop music.
  • A story at the centre that your children help carry home.
  • Rooted on the green, made with local Shepherd’s Bush traders and performers.

Your Journey

You arrive in a small group of twenty, check in, and collect your lanyard. The first part of your visit is guided, step by step. After that, the village is yours for as long as you like.

Stop 1
Candlewick Lane

A lamplit row of Victorian houses where modern London falls away. At the door of No. 41, you are welcomed inside.

Stop 2
The Poet’s Study

Inside No. 41, the walls come alive around you and your family steps straight into the secret story of Father Christmas and the Christmas Mice. By the time you leave, your children are in on something almost no one else knows.

Stop 3
The Lodge

A warm, unhurried room that feels like his own home. Father Christmas shares the story with your group, then each family is invited up in turn for their photograph. Every child leaves holding a token — to be exchanged for a gift at the Toy Stalls on your way out.

Stop 4
Pudding Yard

A bright, clear-sided yard under one roof: Christmas trees, photo spots, hidden games for sharp-eyed children, and stalls serving hot drinks and warm cookies. Pause here as long as you like.

Stop 5
The Secret Sorting House

Day Journey tickets only. 15-minute show.

The mice are behind on the Christmas post, and they need small helpers. A fifteen-minute working visit to the busiest room in the village — and every child leaves with a gift from the mice themselves.

Stop 6
The Mouse Registry

Day Journey tickets only. Big Top show.

The heart of it: the big-top show where the story deepens, a problem appears, and your children are asked to help. We won’t spoil what happens — only that what they carry out isn’t a souvenir. It changes what happens at your house on Christmas Eve.

Stop 7
The Village Square

Now the village is yours. Wander the market chalets, ride the carousel, listen to carollers from the bandstand, or sit with a hot chocolate while your children spot the things you missed. There’s no rush. That’s the whole point.

Stop 8
The Toy Stalls

Near the exit, your child hands over the token from Father Christmas and chooses their gift — the promise from the Lodge, kept.

Community Day & Goodwill Day

A village that gives first

We open on Saturday 28 November with Community Day — free tickets for the families, charities and businesses around the Green, so the people closest to the village experience it first. And on Christmas Eve, when the public season has ended, the village hosts Goodwill Day: a Christmas meal for 200 guests with a local homeless charity, in the tradition of Christmas charity this city gave the world.
