Each and every Journey includes the Village Square. All-day live entertainment on the bandstand, festive lighting, delicious food and festive drinks, a 20-foot-tall Christmas tree, Christmas market stalls and the North Pole Post Office make this part of London Christmas Village magical. Every children’s ticket includes one free carousel ride.

The Village Square is designed to entertain children so parents can relax and enjoy the wonder in their children’s eyes. The square is not only decorated for Christmas, but we have curated food vendors, activities and stalls that children will love. Then of course there is the band-stand and characters to keep everyone entertained.

The North Pole Post Office

Character-led activity. Write your letter to Father Christmas and send it on its way to the North Pole. Why stop there, send a letter to friends and family and share the Christmas spirit. This character-led activity is not to be missed.

The Carousel

Every children’s ticket comes with one free ride on the traditional carousel, whichever Journey you choose.

The Bandstand

All-day live entertainment, Christmas music, readings and nightly visits from Father Christmas.

Marshmallow Toasting

Toasting your own marshmallows is Christmas cheer on a stick.

Ready for your visit

Choose a date and timed entry when you book. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked time and have your confirmation ready.

The village includes indoor, covered and outdoor areas. Dress warmly and wear footwear suitable for the weather.

Is the Village Square free to enter?

The official site lists a paid Village Square Journey ticket. Square entry is also included with Full Journey and Pre-School Journey.

Will we meet Father Christmas here?

Father Christmas visits the bandstand twice each evening. For a personal family meeting in the Grotto, choose Full Journey or Pre-School Journey. Exact bandstand visit times will be announced.

Is the carousel included?

Yes. Every children’s ticket includes one free carousel ride, across all Journey ticket types.

Can we leave and return?

The official FAQ states that re-entry is not permitted on the same ticket.

What is on at the bandstand?

All-day live entertainment includes live singers, carollers, Christmas piano favourites, carol-oke, bell ringers, children’s choirs and live readings, plus two visits from Father Christmas each evening. Exact performance times will be announced.
